Making a difference

“If you think you are too small to make a difference, try sleeping with a mosquito.”

― Dalai Lama XIV

Small steps can make a big difference. Greenkins has partnered with Samhita Social Ventures to implement this belief into meaningful action with your support.

How you can make a difference?

1. Simply buy a m.a.d. product.

  • Look out for m.a.d. products marked with the 5 hearts ribbon.
  • Buy a m.a.d. product.
  • Choose a cause and NGO that you wish to support..

That’s it!

When you buy any of our special m.a.d. products, Greenkins will donate Rs. 100 from the sale to a cause that you are passionate about. Greenkins and Samhita will send this donation directly to the NGO that you wish to support.

Your contribution of Rs. 100 can make a lot of difference.

  • It can provide for the training of 1 girl child against violence and abuse.
  • It can provide training in basic English language for a first generation learner from the slum communities for one month
  • It can help in planting and nurturing trees in the Aravali region.

So, not only do you get a fantastic product when you buy a m.a.d. piece, you also make a positive difference by supporting a cause that you feel strongly about, at no extra cost to you. Experience the true joy of shopping!

*There would be a nominal deduction of 10% towards administrative expenses for our partners with the balance going to the charity directly.

2. Just make a direct donation.

Don’t want to buy any of our m.a.d. specials, but would still like to support a cause that you hold dear to your heart?

At the time of checkout, simply select the charity that you would like to support from amongst our partner NGOs and select the amount that you would like to donate! Greenkins will send the donation on your behalf to the selected NGO.

We have partnered with some of the most credible and trusted organisations in India who have a proven track record of doing pioneering work in the social sector. So, you can be assured that your donation will make a real difference.

*There would be a nominal deduction of 10% towards administrative expenses for our partners with the balance going to the charity directly.

Door Step School

Door Step School was established in Mumbai, India in 1989 with the aim of addressing literacy amongst the marginalized sections of society. The school provides education and support to the often-forgotten children of pavement and slum dwellers, construction site families and many other underprivileged families. Many of these children are not enrolled in school and have limited access to books and a place to study. Additionally, many of these children are forced to drop out of school to work or care for younger children. With neither support nor resources at home these children too often suffer from very low learning level.
